AUTOVEXX
SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 12 October 2026
At Autovexx, we aim to ensure that every order is processed efficiently and delivered safely to our customers.
We use Aramex Store-to-Door as our third-party courier service for deliveries throughout South Africa.
By placing an order with Autovexx, customers acknowledge the shipping terms outlined below, subject to their rights under applicable South African legislation.
1. Shipping Provider
All orders are dispatched using Aramex Store-to-Door, an independent third-party courier service.
Once an order has been dispatched, the physical transportation and delivery of the parcel are managed by Aramex.
Autovexx does not directly control the courier's delivery schedules, routes, or operational procedures.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation.
Processing times may vary depending on stock availability, order volumes, weekends, and public holidays.
Customers will be notified if an order cannot be fulfilled within the agreed timeframe.
Order processing time is separate from courier transit time.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Aramex Store-to-Door generally provides the following estimated transit time after collection:
8-11 business days
This estimate exclude weekends and public holidays.
All delivery timeframes are estimates and should not be interpreted as guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Courier Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Autovexx makes every reasonable effort to ensure that orders are dispatched promptly.
However, delivery delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
-
Aramex operational delays or courier backlogs.
-
Severe weather conditions or natural disasters.
-
Road closures, accidents, or transport disruptions.
-
Strikes, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events.
-
Public holidays and peak shopping periods.
-
Delivery restrictions in remote or outlying areas.
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Autovexx will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Autovexx does not guarantee delivery by a particular date unless such a date has been expressly agreed.
Nothing in this policy excludes our obligation to fulfil orders or limits a customer's statutory rights concerning delayed or failed delivery.
5. Shipping Fees
Applicable shipping fees will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Additional courier charges may apply to certain remote or restricted delivery locations.
Where additional charges are required, customers will be informed before any additional payment is requested or incurred.
Autovexx will not impose undisclosed delivery charges without the customer's agreement.
6. Delivery Addresses and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.
This includes:
-
Correct street address and postal code.
-
Accurate recipient name.
-
Valid contact number.
-
Any necessary delivery instructions.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because of incorrect information supplied by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply where reasonably incurred and lawfully recoverable.
Customers are responsible for making reasonable arrangements to receive their parcels.
Where delivery fails because the customer is unavailable, refuses delivery without a lawful reason, or supplies incorrect information, any resulting redelivery costs will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.
7. Tracking Your Order
Once an order has been dispatched, customers will be provided with tracking information where available.
Parcels can be tracked through the official Aramex Store-to-Door website:
https://storetodoor.aramex.co.za
Customers are encouraged to monitor their tracking information for delivery updates.
Tracking information may take some time to become available after dispatch.
8. Lost, Missing or Damaged Parcels
If a parcel is lost, damaged, or not delivered, customers should contact Autovexx as soon as reasonably possible.
Autovexx will assist in investigating the matter with Aramex.
Customers may be asked to provide their order number, tracking number, photographs, or other relevant information.
Where a parcel is confirmed lost or damaged before the customer has accepted delivery, Autovexx will provide the remedy required under applicable South African consumer law.
Autovexx may pursue a separate claim against Aramex or its insurer where appropriate.
A customer's statutory rights will not be made dependent on the outcome of any insurance claim between Autovexx and Aramex.
9. Failed Delivery Attempts
If Aramex is unable to complete delivery, the courier may arrange another delivery attempt or provide further instructions.
Additional charges arising from customer-caused delivery failures may be payable by the customer where lawfully applicable.
Autovexx reserves the right to verify the circumstances of failed delivery attempts before arranging further shipment.
10. Delayed or Unfulfilled Orders
Under Section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, Autovexx must execute orders within 30 days of receiving them unless another period has been agreed with the customer.
Where an order is not fulfilled within the legally applicable period, customers may exercise their statutory cancellation rights, including cancellation on seven days' written notice where Section 46(2) applies.
If Autovexx cannot fulfil an order because the product is unavailable, the customer will be notified and any payment refunded within the legally required timeframe.
Courier delays will be addressed reasonably and in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, Autovexx will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, provided such exclusion is lawful and does not arise from conduct or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Autovexx remains responsible for fulfilling its statutory obligations to customers.
Nothing in this policy excludes liability for loss, damage, non-delivery, or other circumstances where South African law requires Autovexx to provide a remedy.
12. Applicable Legislation
This Shipping & Delivery Policy is governed by applicable South African law, including:
-
The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
-
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Where any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation, the applicable legislation will prevail.
